Program Description
The Summer Academic Program is an opportunity for all students to expand their learning. Classes are taught by our highly qualified San Diego Unified teachers.
Program Dates and Bell Times
Wednesday, June 12, 2024, through Friday, July 12, 2024
(Closed June 19, July 4 and July 5)

Eligibility
Per the California Department of Education Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) grant requirements and district priority areas, priority registration (P1) will be given to students who meet at least one of the below criteria:
- Multilingual (English Language Learner)
- Eligible for a free or reduced-price meal
- Homeless/foster youth
- Students with Disabilities (IEP or 504)
- Siblings of students with the above criteria
Not Eligible:
- Students enrolled in Charter Schools and/or outside of San Diego Unified School District are not eligible for our Summer Programs.
- Students planning to enroll in the 2024-2025 school year are not eligible to participate.
- Students participating in the State Pre-School Program are not eligible to participate.
Student Registration Process

Priority 1 Enrollment UTK-8 begins Monday, January 29, 2024 and ends on Friday, March 15, 2024. Contact your home school for more information.

Open/General Enrollment UTK-8 begins May 13, 2024.
