Partners

Career Technical Education (CTE) courses are offered in 13 industry sectors tied to local economic and workforce needs with the guidance of industry higher education partners. These partnerships provide career awareness and workplace opportunities such as mentors, internships, field trips. The following is a list of some of our partnerships:

Career Technical Education Advisory Committee (CTEAC)

The CTEAC is comprised of a balance of small, medium, and large businesses as well as economic and workforce development, community college and four year institutions that have a long-range vested interest in the economic outlook of the San Diego. This committee makes recommendations about the career technical education programs and serves as a liaison between the district and potential employers. The committee also reviews and approves major construction and modernization projects at district high schools.
