The Budget Department is responsible for school and central office budget functions of the district, including expenditure control.

Ensures that financial resources from federal and state agencies are appropriately recorded and reported.

Ensures that all budgetary transactions are coded accurately in PeopleSoft, (the District’s Financial System) according to the California Standardized Account Code Structure authored by the California Department of Education through the use of a Chart of Accounts Structure.
