     Our mission is to prepare highly literate students who are motivated to be lifelong learners, problem solvers, and productive citizens who will become leaders of our community and nation. Hoover High School Senior Walk
Hoover’s First Annual Senior walk took place Wednesday, June 15! Seniors in their caps and gowns went to five Hoover Cluster Elementary schools including Rosa Parks!

Parent Newsletter
This is always a busy time of year. Our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students will begin State testing on June 20th. It is important that students arrive to school on time and are well rested.
Go Botball Team Rosa Parks!
March 13, about 20 of students from Rosa Parks, along with their teacher Pam Pham-Baron, participated in a Junior Botball Challenge event at Hoover High School, along with students, teachers/principal, and many parents from other elementary schools in the Hoover cluster.

Steps to College
Grade 3-5 parents are invited to Monroe Clark on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 9:00am for a resource fair, school tour and to learn tips on supporting your student academically.
Random Acts of Kindness Week
Rosa Parks will be participating in the Great Kindness Challenge set by the district during the week of January 25-29, 2016. There are several activities planned to bring awareness to the challenge of being kind and respectful every day.
Financial Aid Family Night
Families with students in all grade levels are welcome to attend! Presentation will be in English with Vietnamese translation and in Spanish.
