Kindergarten Orientation
Parents new to Barnard for the 2017-2018 school are invited to our Kindergarten Orientation meeting on Friday, May, 19th at 8:30 am. Come and meet our principal, Mrs. Hernandez, and the kindergarten teachers. You will also be given valuable information regarding our program and what will be expected of you and your new elementary school student.

Family Friday
Please join your students Friday morning for Family Friday. Students are welcome to dress as their favorite story book character. This marks the culmination of Kindness Week. Each day our students have dressed for a different theme. This picture is Tabitha on Crazy Hair Day!

National Parent/Family Involvement Day
Thursday, November 17 is National Parent/Family Involvement Day. Barnard's staff would like to take this opportunity to express our deepest gratitude to all of our volunteers. You truly help our school run smoothly. It's wonderful having your help in providing the education your children deserve.
Dia de los Muertos
Barnard's Latin heritage was celebrated on November 2nd, "The Day of the Dead" with an altar honoring those who are no longer with us. Even though this day is close to Halloween, it really has nothing to do with Halloween. It is a festive day to celebrate the lives of those who have passed away.
