Summer Update (07-08-2018)

Hello Centurions.  Mr. O. here with a summer update.  A thank you goes out to our families that have come in to pick up a registration packet. This process serves two purposes: it gets the important documents parents need for registration and it allows us to know who is coming back to school in the fall.  If you have not already come by school to get your packet, please know your student risks being taken out of the classes they had signed up for in the spring. We need to account for all students planning to come back and to record all students changing schools due to a summer move.

Tuesday, July 10, and Wednesday, July 11, we will be collecting the packet/registration information for athletes on the 10th, and for band members, color guard members, and cheerleaders on the 11th. Both days we will be open for registration from 8am to 10:30 am.

We offer this early registration as a means to speed up the process for checking and adjusting student/parent information in our computer system.  Going through 1800 students and changing emails, phone number, and contact information can take some time and getting started earlier helps ensure we have accurate information sooner.

Our second packet/registration turn in will be August 20th and August 21st.  If a student can’t make the August registration days, they can come to this week’s registration.

Because of the heavy construction happening on campus, no students or parents should come on campus.  Registration will be held in the 400 building that faces the student parking lot.

We need everyone routinely checking the school website for school updates.  Please know that fall sports start in early August. Students must have already had their physical and have submitted their paperwork online in advance if participating in a fall sport.

We hope everyone is enjoying their summer plans and we look forward to seeing you all very soon. Regards, Mr. O and Coach O for our C-21s.
