Get Involved and Stay Informed (03-22-2016)
Good evening, Principal Olivero here with your weekly update before we head into spring break.
On Friday, March 25th, at lunch, the school will celebrate a Multicultural Faire. Students will be able to taste a variety of cultural foods, see student performances, and experience chalk art on the sidewalks of the quad. It’s always a great day for our Centurions!
Also on Friday, all students will receive a hard copy of their progress report grades. Please ask your student to see it or check their backpack. Please contact their teacher if you have questions about a progress grade.
Last weekend at the Mira Mesa Music Festival, the school’s String Orchestra scored a superior rating and the Wind Ensemble earned the highest score possible: Superior Unanimous. Congratulations to our young musicians. Friday night, the Music Boosters will be holding their annual Sights and Sounds Showcase- A Musical Journey Featuring Students, Staff and Special Friends. The event is a fundraiser for our award winning program and we ask interested students and parents consider attending. Please see the school website to know the when, where, and why for this great event!
We wish you all a safe and enjoyable week off of school. School will be back in session on Monday, April 4, 2016.
