Standley Middle receives Quality School Award at Board Meeting

Area Superintendents and the Instructional Team identified 13 district schools that represent outstanding implementation of the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) Goals 1-5 during the 2016-2017 school year.  At the Sept. 12 Board meeting, each school was recognized and awarded for the their excellence in demonstrating that they are quality schools in their neighborhoods, and serve as models for replication by other district schools.  Standley Middle School received the award for making an exceptional contribution towards a Positive School Environment, Climate, and Culture with Equity at the Core and Support for the Whole Child (LCAP Goal #4).  Mr. Pearson was joined by last year’s PTSA President Claire Shaughnessy and this year’s PTSA President Jenny Goodman to receive the award.  Congratulations Standley Families for helping us achieve this goal.
