Greetings Q Nation,
We had an amazing week! The class of 2015 graduated on Friday with honor dignity and grace. Therefore, I want to repeat my comments from Friday for all to remember.
Living on purpose is the only way to really live
everything else is just existing.
Most people struggle with three basic issues in life.
First is Identity: Who am I?
The second is importance: Do I matter?
The third is impact: What is my place in life?
You as a young person will have to decide who you are? You’re character. What happens to you in the midst of a storm? Do you cut and run? Or, do you stand up to the power of Mother Nature. Who am I, is the discovery of your inner strength.
Second – Importance: Do I matter?
That’s one of the world’s greatest questions. The answer is yes, you do matter. The things that you do in life not only affect you it influences others. Because you do matter you can change the world.
Third – Impact: What is my place in life?
When you think of your place in life, you look at your surroundings and you determine what it is that you want to do. How do you want to change things around you? Your place in life is not determined by your job, income, or social status…. your place in life is determined by your heart.
As you think about the three areas that I pointed out I want you to keep your life compass pointed towards good and not evil, love not hate, compassion not judgment. It has been my honor to be your principal for this school year.
We have one day left and I want all of our students, parents, faculty and staff to know that we have “Finished Like Champions”!!!!
Have a Q-Tastic Day !!!!
