Seniors Only – How to Pay Fines Online
At this time, we have approximately 130 seniors who need to pay their fines before they are able to pick up their diplomas.
Students should first check the page on the SRHS website. There is a link to Destiny so students can see what they have checked out. It can be found on the page under . Fines for lost textbooks will need to be paid before a diploma can be picked up. If you have questions about textbooks or fines, please email our library tech, Silvia Rohrer at
Students can pay fines using the online store located on the main page under the “For Students” tab of the Scripps Ranch High School website. To pay fines online, click this and login. Next, enter the amount to pay. Then, download the required form. Click add to cart and pay the amount. Complete the form and students should take it to station #3 on June 9th (located in the quad) along with the printout proof of payment to collect their diploma.
Senior Celebration Graduation Website
On Tuesday, June 9th the SDUSD graduation website will go live. On the page will be our senior highlight video, pictures and other videos to celebrate the class of 2020 for their accomplishments. Once this link is active, I will send it via School Messenger to families, post it in the Class of 2020 Google Classroom, and also post on the main page of our SRHS website.
Preparation for Virtual Graduation Ceremony
As a reminder, while we are hoping it will be safe to hold a physical graduation ceremony with social distancing later in the summer, we still need to prepare in the event we will need to hold a virtual graduation ceremony. The virtual graduation slideshow will only be published if we are unable to hold a physical graduation in the summertime. Families, please take a picture of your graduate, it can be casual or in their cap and gown. We are also asking for a short message to be included from the family for your graduating senior. Click this () to see an example of a roll call slide.
Directions to create your own:
Google Slides Steps: Open the link shared of the example roll call slide and on the upper left, go to FILE and then MAKE A COPY (Entire Presentation.) Then title it by the Student’s First and Last Name and student ID number. (Example: Hayden Brooks 123456.) Now you can edit the slide to insert your graduate’s picture and full name of student with a personal message in the text box to the right. Attach the slide you created to an email, Subject Line: Parent/Guardian Senior Virtual Slide and send to: Amy Hines, Interim Vice Principal, firstname.lastname@example.org
A confirmation email will be sent in 24 hours. Please send a follow up email if you do not receive confirmation.
That’s all I have for today. I will continue to send out updates throughout the summer as information about the graduation ceremony as well as next school year becomes available. Have a great summer!
