Do Your Homework @ the Library Program

As part of Mayor Kevin Faulconer's One San Diego budget plan to reestablish the City's libraries as centers for learning and civic engagement for San Diego children, the Do Your Homework @ the Library afterschool program provides free homework assistance to students in grades K-8 at ten San Diego Public Library locations: Central, City Heights/Weingart, College-Rolando, Linda Vista, Logan Heights, North Clairemont, Otay Mesa-Nestor, San Ysidro, Scripps Miramar Ranch and Valencia Park/Malcolm X.
Each Homework Center is staffed with professional Tutor/Learning Coordinators as well as volunteer “homework coaches” available to help students with school assignments. The Central Library’s Homework Center is open every day, and nine additional Homework Centers are open four days a week. No registration is required. Additional sites will be added soon.
