About Riley/New Dawn/Marcy
Our main campus sits tucked in the Claremont area of San Diego. We are in a quiet neighborhood that offers our students a tranquil setting to learn each day. Here we offer programs for students in grades K-8 as well as grades 9-12. We also have a similar high school program for students in grades 9-12 next to Clairemont High School.
We are a special education school that offers intensive supports for students with social emotional issues. While we have a small student population, we are diverse. Our students come from all over the school district to receive the supports and services they have been unable to access on a traditional school campus. Our class sizes are small and each of them are supported by a special education teacher as well as two rehabilitation specialists. We also have mental health staff on site at each of our programs who offer therapeutic services to all of our students.
We pride ourselves on the ability to build relationships with students and families that have often been broken. Our goal is to build the social, emotional, and academic skills of our students so they can access learning again and find success in school.
