Pacific Beach Middle 8th graders have started their IB Community Projects. Students are working on many issues that will make a difference in our school, as well as in our local and global communities. Here's a glimpse into a few of the projects:
-coordinating a beach clean-up and analyzing what they find
-setting up penpals in France and Japan
-redesigning the PB Middle Counseling Center
-installing water bottle filling stations
-documenting and organizing data of rain collected by our rain barrels
-coordinating Builders and GSA Clubs
-coaching and helping younger students playing soccer
-capture Kony project
-coordinating peace and kindness activities
