My name is Stephanie Smith, and I am proud to be the full-time school psychologist at CPMA! As a school psychologist, I work with students who have Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to ensure that each student is being taught in a way that maximizes their strengths, while ameliorating the effects of their learning challenges. I also work closely with our school counselors, and provide counseling and crisis intervention where needed.
I am originally from Michigan, and received my B.A. and M.S. in psychology from Eastern Michigan University. I moved to San Diego in 2005, where I received my P.P.S. credential in school psychology from National University. After living here for 13 years, I now consider San Diego my home! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 18 years, Ric, and our 19-month-old foster son.
