Overview

School Site Councils are a major part of the overall decision making structure at every school. This group of people is elected by peers to represent the stakeholders of a school community. Their primary role is to oversee the academic planning process to ensure that the needs of all students are specifically addressed in the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA). The SPSA is living document that highlights academic programs, goals and rationales. SPSA Link
