School Site Council (SSC)

The School Site Council (SSC) needs parent and community members.

School Site Councils provide oversight of the academic planning and budgeting process associated with the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) in order to meet the needs of all students. SSCs provide meaningful consultation with the principal to oversee the implementation, monitoring, and revision of the SPSA, including reviewing and analyzing data; consulting with advisory groups; evaluating programs and activities; and allocating the expenditure of funds available to the school through categorical programs.

iMiddle SSC meeting dates/times will be held the second Tuesday of every month starting at 4:10 PM in the Library.  The first meeting was held on Tuesday, October 11, 2016. Download the SSC Meeting Agenda (PDF).

Parents and the community are encouraged to be a member.  You may elect yourself or a peer to the SSC, please fill out this electronic form and you will be notified regarding the next steps in the election process.  Elections are held in September "Back to School Night."  Contact Yvonne Gafa, ygafa@sandi.net for information.
