Ms. Boisclair • Kinder-5th Grade • Special Education
Room 37 is a kindergarten-Fifth grade class. The class is focusing on Independence, Socialization, and Communication during the current school year. On a daily basis, the students will rotate through six learning centers, including three staff lead groups, and three centers to increase student independence.
The Student Centers incorporate STEAM; Building Design and Art, and our use of Technology in our Independent Reading Center and I pad Educational rotations. Our Year at a Glance in the realm of Science includes Units on Space, Water, Weather, Habitats, and Plants. The opportunity to integrate Science and Art with Cota & Good Neighbor Gardens, as well as having physical spaces like the Maker Space and the Art Studio help make our student's experiences at Carson memorable as well offering 21st Century Learning into the culture of the school. Students are given knowledge and hands on experience to help foster growth and opportunity in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math.
