Mrs. Brill’s 1st Grade Class
Hello and welcome to Room 23!
My name is Mrs. Brill and it is my pleasure to teach first grade! There is a lot to learn in first grade, and it is my goal to guide these young scholars toward a love of learning. In Room 23, we learn how to ask questions, take risks, and learn from our mistakes.
Our class rules are simple: be a good listener, keep your hands and feet to yourself, and take responsibility for your learning. Learning is hard; I am here to guide my students to try their best. In Room 23, we come to school with an awake-mind, an open-heart, and an expectation for good things!
I am available to meet after school, or you can reach me by email: email@example.com.
About the teacher:
I received my Bachelor’s Degree in from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN, and my Teaching Credential from San Diego State University, where I did my student teaching at Carson. I fell in love with the community, the school, and the students that I decided to make Carson my home. I enjoy learning new things, and I hope to pursue my Masters in Education.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy going to the gym, spending time with my family (and my two cats Finley and Chloe), trying new recipes, and traveling. Mr. Brill and I are celebrating our 5th anniversary this year, and we enjoy staying active outdoors together.
