Reading is Fundamental is a program that provides students with their own libraries. Free new books are given 3 times a year.
There are over a dozen computers available for research, word processing, and printing. High-speed internet and a wireless network are available. Plenty of tables are available for group or individual study. The Mac lab is available for classes to do research and class projects. A room is also available in the back of the library for groups to hold meetings (upon reservation) or for a more quiet setting to study.
Tutoring sessions are held after school from 2:30pm to 3:30pm from Monday through Thursday unless otherwise noted. Several teachers and outstanding students are there to help you with your homework and questions.
We encourage teachers to schedule an appointment with the Librarian to bring in their students during class for an orientation and brief tutorial on how to use these databases. These are a valuable research tool and provide better results and more credible sources.
