  • Next week, April 1-15, is National Volunteer Week. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our wonderful volunteers at Barnard. We will honor all of you at a luncheon on June 1. Mark your calendars. Thank you all so much!!!!
  • Thank you to Olympic Hurdler, Jadel Gregorio and his wife, who visited Barnard 4th and 5th graders on Wednesday, April 6, Students joined him on the field for a mini field day.
  • Last Friday morning Barnard students celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday by dressing up as their favorite Dr. Seuss book characters. We had several Thing 1 and Thing 2's on campus as well as many others. Parents came for Family Friday and read with students in their classrooms. Principal Hernandez was even able to get into some of the classrooms to read to the kids.
  • This Friday, March 4, is Family Friday!! We will be celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday by having students come dressed in their favorite Dr. Seuss book character. Classrooms might even get a visit from the Cat in the Hat and a couple of his favorite things.
  • Many of you have heard or been asked by parents about the Morgan Hill Case, a lawsuit against the CDE. Please click on "Confidential Student Information" for more information.
  • The Barnard community celebrated Chinese New Year on Saturday, February 6.
  • Ms. Wang and Ms. Brakespear's 2nd grade classes were treated to a visit by two Golden Retrievers on Monday Morning, February 1.
  • Join us to celebrate the Year of the Monkey on Saturday, February 6, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at our Barnard Campus. We will have games, booths, Chinese Lion Dancing, food and more.
  • Raina's crazy hair!!!
    January 25 through January 29 is the Great Kindness Challenge and our students are observing a week of school spirit. Monday staff and students were asked to wear different color socks or shoes. Tuesday was crazy hair day; Wednesday pajama day; Thursday sports or dance attire day and Friday wear your Barnard colors; red or black.
