All band students should arrive at 6:00. Then you will carefully walk with your instrument to the auditorium and be seated in front of the stage on the side chairs in the auditorium.
Concert performance order will be as follows:
- 1st All Strings
- 2nd All Band
Several small ensembles will also be performing on the stage throughout this concert.
There will be short breaks while several of us move music stands and chairs to accommodate the different groups, so please be patient and enjoy some fresh baked goods and refreshments.
To all students, you should not be running around outside of the auditorium while the other groups are performing. For the most part, you should be seated quietly in the chairs placed on the sides of the auditorium.
All music students are expected to attend this concert.
Concert Dress: white shirt or blouse, black pants or skirt. Please dress nicely.
I would like to thank Mr. Bill Gilmer for his experience and his incredible patience while helping with the 6th grade band.
I would also like to thank all the parents, the administration, and the teachers, for supporting instrumental music here at Muirlands and also for understanding the importance of music in your student’s education.
Parent Volunteers needed: 'SignupGenius link' with detailed specifics of how you may help out and also what may be needed for the night of our concert.
The students have worked hard to prepare for this concert.
So bring your whole family and all of your friends to hear the beautiful sounds of your young musicians.
We do look forward to entertaining you.
Sincerely, Mr. David Rouillard 619-772-2361
