8th Grade Western Day
The 8th Grade Western Day is a special annual December lunch-time event held just for 8th graders. This event coincides with the 8th grade American History curriculum. Teachers will discuss this time period’s historical significance, and both encourage and incentivize students to dress in Western attire for the festivities. With the help of Muirlands staff, games and activities are organized along with a special themed luncheon and a professional DJ for the 8th grade students during their extended lunch period.
ALL students need a ticket to attend:
- Tickets can be reserved at the office Financial Window before school and during lunch. Students must return a signed Participation/Donation form and bring their Student ID to the Financial Window. The deadline to get a ticket is Tuesday, December 18th during lunch.
- This event is a fundraiser for the 8th Grade Class End-of-Year Activities. A suggested donation of $10-$15 can be brought to the Financial Window when reserving tickets (as costs have increased, larger donations are greatly appreciated). Please make sure to fill the donation information on the Participation/Donation form.
