SAY San Diego's Teen Court Program will be a great Community service opportunity for our Morse Students! SAY SD will come to Morse HS on May 4th to train students to serve as Peer jurors. Students will get trained on the juvenile Justice System, Trauma informed care, including the Principles of restorative justice to prepare the students to be peer jurors. Students would need to commit to serving at least 3 jury panels in one year.
The training will take place here at Morse High School this Saturday May 4th. Aside from getting credit for attending Saturday school (CASSAS), which removes one full day, plus 5 additional T's or A's in your attendance, you will get community service hours, which will support you when filling out your college applications as well as applying for a job in the future.
