PTSA Grad Nite for Seniors and Juniors
Juniors and seniors are needed to sign-up for PTSA to give their input for the upcoming grad nite as soon as possible.
ASB was the only group that handled grad nite 10 years before the event was passed onto the Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA). Now, the organization requires money from students to buy theme park tickets.
“We encourage the parents, staff, and students to work together towards their common goal,” said Filipino teacher Gloria Guilas.
Students who want to go must pay their own entry fee of $35 to go to the park. Schools will provide the buses and teachers and the park will provide instructors with lesson plans.
For this year’s grad nite, juniors and seniors who pay the membership of PTSA will only be charged for $200 instead of $210 for their Disneyland ticket. Students are to arrive at the parks at 10-11 a.m. on Saturday and stay there until 2 a.m. the next morning. Therefore, they can receive 12-h
To become a member of PTSA, staff, and parents should pay the amount of $12 and students $7 once a year. All people should get a form, located on the Morse website under ‘Parents,’ and put in their name along with their contact information.ours between Disneyland and California Adventures to have fun. If students are unable to pay the fees, PTSA will hand out scholarships and partial scholarships to ensure that students can still go on the trip.
“Any students can join the PTSA,” insisted science teacher Mark Gendron. “But especially juniors and seniors because the PTSA now has taken over grad nite.”
The upcoming PTSA association meeting will be held on Nov. 23 at the auditorium at 5:30 p.m.
