Hello Montgomery Families,

Today starts our third week of testing. Students who have Mathematics and/or English Language Arts during periods 4, 5 or 6 will test during weeks 3 and 4. Click here to see a detailed copy of the testing schedule.

Homework Club is offered every Tuesday and Thursday after school in room 110 from 3:15 – 4:15.

Join the Montgomery School Team this Sunday, May 19th at Liberty Station as we Walk Against Hate. Click here for more details.

Congratulations to our Teacher of the Year, Nancy Burks! Thank you to all of our families who took the time to let their child’s teachers know how much they are appreciated during Teacher Appreciation Week.

Monday 5/13

  • School Site Council Meeting in Room 110 at 4:00 p.m.

Tuesday 5/14

  • PTSA Executive Board Meeting in Room 110 at 6:00 p.m.

Wednesday 5/15

  • Minimum Day – Student Dismissal at 1:27 p.m.
  • Montgomery’s Basketball and Soccer teams will play against Knox Middle School at Lincoln High School. Both games will start at 3:30 p.m.
  • Family Dinner Night in room 214 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Thursday 5/16

  • Kearny Cluster Meeting at Chesterton Elementary School from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.

Important Dates for 8th Grade Families

  • June 5th – Grades will be calculated to determine which students are eligible to participate in the promotion ceremony.
  • June 11th – 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony at 9:00 a.m. in our Auditorium   

Looking Ahead

  • No School May 24th and 27th (Memorial Day Weekend)
  • June 5th – Exhibition of Student Learning 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
