Greetings Montgomery Families,

Did you know Daylight Savings was conceived by Benjamin Franklin in an essay, “An Economical Project” as a way to conserve energy? I hope the extra hour of sleep was a welcome respite for you and your family.

 We LOVE celebrating Academic Excellence. This past Monday, fifteen students were honored for their achievements in school during our Student of the Month Luncheon.

Monday 11/5

  • Lockdown Drill – We will conduct a brief drill after lunch to ensure our students and staff know when to do in the event of a lockdown.

Tuesday 11/6

  • Neuroscientists guest lecture in 7th Grade Science classes.

Wednesday 11/7

  • Minimum Day – Student Dismissal at 1:27 p.m.

Thursday 11/8

  • Math Teachers participate in professional development

Looking Ahead

School Closed on November 12th in observance of Veteran’s Day. Please reference our school calendar located on our website to see which days students will have off this school year.   

Our Rising Start Band will perform at our Annual Winter Concert on December 20th at 6:00 p.m.
