January Parent Cafe, Wednesday, January 18th

Martin Luther King Jr Day, School Closed
In memory of Martin Luther King Jr, Miller will be closed on Monday January 16. School reopens on Tuesday January 17.
Middle School Preference Letter
Attention 5th grade parents: The preference letter for selection of a middle school (either Farb or DePortola) is due between January 18th and the 31st. Please contact the office for any questions.
New Parent Welcome

Healthy Food Awareness

Gaylord Hansen Donates Shoes for all Miller students
The Gaylord-Hansen Shoe Foundation holds one New Shoe Event annually. On October 7th, 2016, the Gaylord-Hansen Mortgage Team, with the support of the real estate community, bought brand new shoes for more than 700 students at Miller Elementary. Every student will receive a new pair of shoes, two pairs of socks, an event t-shirt, and a BBQ lunch! Thank you to Gaylord Hansen for filling our buckets!
Miller designated as a "No Place for Hate" school
The Anti-Defamation League has designated Miller as a "No Place for Hate" school for the fourth year.
Miller Elementary Celebrates Art and Literacy
Over 550 people visited Miller Elementary to celebrate student art and Literacy. Families did art projects, participated in an Art Walk, picked up a free book, and had a free spaghetti dinner. Thank you to the PTA, FACES, and our team of teachers.
