There are occasions when over the counter medication (OTC) may be given at school, IF a parent or legal guardian has completed and signed the Health Information Exchange Consent Form. This form, typically signed at the start of the school year, is in affect for one school year. Medications that can be administered, if appropriate, are the following:
- Acetominophen (Tylenol)
- Calamine lotion
If your student requires any type of medication during the school day, either on a daily basis, as needed basis, or for a short period of time only, we can only administer these medications at school with completed physician’s recommendation for medication. This includes physician signature and parent signature. Please click on the link(s) below for the appropriate form(s) before a visit to your child’s physician.
