Overview

San Diego Unified is proud to open the online PowerSchool Portal to parents and students.The parent portal leverages the district’s investment in its new student information system by improving home - school communication and giving parents immediate access to the information they need to ensure that their children are successful at school. 
 
PowerSchool Parent Portal is a powerful on-line tool for obtaining information about your child. You will be able to review your child’s class schedule, grades, and attendance from any computer that has internet accessibility.  Since the Parent Portal is a web-based application, it may be accessed from any place the parent/guardian can access the Internet. In other words, you will be able to see your child’s progress twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
 
The PowerSchool Parent Portal application is a secure link that encrypts the data to and from the end user. In addition, a username and password are provided to allow access for only authorized users to the appropriate student record.  With single sign-on access, parents/guardians have their own individual parent/guardian account,including user name and password.  You may create your own account using the appropriate access credentials. 
 
Once your account is created, you can manage your account information, link any and all students to your account (for whom you have parental and legal rights to), and set email and notifications preferences for each student linked to your account. If you've forgotten your account login information, you can retrieve them by using auto-recovery.
