Do you want to be more involved at La Jolla Elementary? Whether you would like a small commitment or large commitment, we have many volunteer opportunities throughout the year. To get started with volunteering or to explore what opportunities are available, please print out the Volunteer Opportunities Form. Fill out what areas may interest you and attach it to the Volunteer Cover Letter and return both forms to the school office. You will then be entered into our volunteer database. This does not commit you to any particular action, but just means that you will be emailed or contacted when your area of interest is needed to see if you are available. If you are new to volunteering or a returning volunteer, please fill out the appropriate forms below.
The San Diego Unified School District mandates that ALL volunteers must fill out a School Volunteer Application and Code of Conduct form YEARLY. ALL volunteers must have a TB test on file every 4 years. There is a school nurse on staff for the 2017-2018 school year at LJES that can do TB screenings on Mondays and Tuesdays. Please stop in and talk to the school nurse for more information. All Field trip chaperones must have yearly volunteer clearance and a TB test every 4 years.
