 California Healthy Kids Surveys

Our District is committed to nurturing and enhancing safe and healthy educational environments for students, families and staff. In order to achieve this important goal, we will be conducting the California School System (CAL-SCHLS) survey. Through CAL-SCHLS, our District will collect data from students, staff and families in order to meet California Educational State mandates.

As part of SDUSD Local Control Accountability Plan and mandates as described in the California School Dashboard, our District is now required to measure Student Engagement, Parent Engagement & Overall School Climate. The California School Survey System (CAL-SCHLS) includes 3 surveys: California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS), California School Staff Survey (CSSS) and California Parent Survey (CPSS).  All surveys are anonymous.  Please complete the survey by May 25th, 2018.
