San Diego Climate Action Plan

This picture was taken at the press conference held at Kearny High Ed. Complex on April 4, 2017 highlighting how the City of San Diego is working in conjunction with the San Diego Unified School District and making a big step toward implementing San Diego’s Climate Action Plan.  The goal is for 100 percent renewable energy used citywide by 2035. Mayor Kevin L. Faulconer was joined by Environment California to release a report Tuesday that ranks San Diego No. 1 in solar energy capacity nationwide after increasing its solar energy installations over the past year.  Our students were a part of the plan and they are pictured here with City of San Diego Mayor, Kevin Faulconer, San Diego Unified School District Superintendent, Cindy Marten and Kearny High Complex Principal, Ana Diaz.
