I am currently proud to be a teacher at Kearny High School educational complex!

A little about me...

I grew up in a small town (approx. 5000 people) in southeastern Massachusetts. After graduating High School I studied for two years at Northeastern University in Boston. There I studied the fundamentals of Engineering and Physics. While at Northeastern I did internships with The Gillette Company, where I did small scale research and development on shave foam and shave gel formulations and at International Specialty Chemicals where I worked on both analytical chemistry and process troubleshooting.
At the end of my second year attending Northeastern I transferred to the University of Rhode Island where I completed my Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. I am proud to say that I graduated at the top of my class and received the President's award for Outstanding Chemical Engineer.  After finishing my B.S. I worked for 3 years at the State of Rhode Island's Department of Environmental Management.  While there I worked with a great group of engineers / scientists on site remediation (cleaning up hazardous waste on properties throughout the state).
In 2008 I moved to San Diego and had the opportunity to work as a tutor and teacher. It was this experience combined with working as a substitute teacher in El Cajon and Chula Vista that ignited my passion for teaching.
Since then, I have completed my Masters in Education at UCSD and taught at Millenial Tech Middle School, Mira Mesa High School, and San Diego High School prior to coming to Kearny.
You will find me on campus from approximately 8:00am to 5:00pm.  My door (403) is always open for extra help, makeup work, or any question you think I might be able to answer.  For 1-on-1 tutoring (more than just a quick question ) or to make up exams you should schedule an appointment with me by email: sfrazier@sandi.net   If you are a parent, please feel free to send me an email.  I will be happy to update you on your son / daughter's progress in my class.
