| BiographySra. Farrar was born and raised in the Clairemont area of San Diego. She attended Madison High School. She earned her undergraduate degree in Spanish and Political Science from the University of California, Irvine. She completed the teacher credential program at San Diego State University and earned credentials in Spanish and Social Sciences. She earned a master's degree in Educational Technology (now called Learning Design and Technology) at SDSU. Sra. Farrar is proud to have been teaching Spanish at SCT since 2009. She also handles updates to SCT's website, is a member of the School Site Council (SSC), and she tries to help other teachers with classroom technology when needed. One of Sra. Farrar's hobbies is traveling. She has traveled to Puerto Rico, Cuba, Spain, Panama, Costa Rica, Colombia, England, Ireland, and throughout Mexico. She also enjoys surfing, keeping up with current events, and working on her house. Ever since she was a high school student herself, Sra. Farrar knew that she wanted to be a teacher. She is excited to be living her dream! |
