Movie in the Park

It was a Friday night and the field at Jerabek Elementary School was alive with activity. What was going on? Jerabek’s annual Family Movie Night! Jerabek hosted more than 500 Jerabekians to watch Surf’s Up with school friends. Also, the Family Faculty Organization (FFO) and Pazzo’s teamed up so everyone could enjoy a yummy dinner during the movie. A special thank you to the Family Movie Night coordinators—Cindy Brentnall, Steve Brentnall, and Lisa Mountain—for making this a super fun evening for everyone!

Volunteer Spotlight: Kimberly Powers

This month Jerabek would like to thank Kimberly Powers for everything she does and gives of herself to make Jerabek amazing! Kimberly has volunteered her time in so many ways. She has served as a room mom, as well as a fantastic photographer to ensure we have special mementos of the events taking place in the classroom, on field trips, and at monthly assemblies.

She is the mother to three boys and is well known for her amazingly positive attitude and wonderful laugh. You just can’t help but smile when you are around Kimberly. She organized the assembly bulletin board in the courtyard and keeps it updated every month with pictures from each event. This year she has volunteered to be co-chair for the yearbook.

Thank you doesn’t seem enough to express our gratitude for all you do, Kimberly. Thank you for your hard work.

Break Time Already!

Jerabek’s Thanksgiving break is from Monday, Nov. 23, through Friday, Nov. 27. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving to all Jerabek and Scripps Ranch families!
