We hope that all iMiddle parents can attend our Back to School Night on Wed, Sept 20th from 5:30pm - 7:30pm! (Please note: this is an adult only event).
Beginning at 6:00pm, you will be following your child's schedule and meeting your child’s teachers. They will be sharing some important classroom information with you. Please remember to bring your child's schedule with you. (Students will be creating this to bring home on Tuesday. ) Our bells will ring every 10 min, so bring your walking shoes! 6th grade parents and anyone new to iMiddle will get their PowerSchool parent portal information during 7th period.
All parents who would like be involved and help out the school with monetary donations or by volunteering should please visit the Parent Foundation table (outside Room 6) beginning at 5:30pm. Our parent group is the iMiddle Community Foundation and operates as a non-profit. Funds raised go directly back to iMiddle - students and classrooms to help supplement the iMiddle budget. The Foundation funds all:
- iParties and Reward parties
- STEAM activities
- Sports activities during lunch
- Specialty items for the classroom
- 8th grade promotion activities
- 6th & 7th Grade end of year Carnival
- Teacher appreciation breakfasts
Please consider making a tax deductible donation! Checks should be made payable to iMiddle Community Foundation and can be turned in at Back to School Night. They can also be turned in to the school Office during the week or to your child's Advisory teacher.
There are also MANY volunteer opportunities from family BBQs and the Color Run to assisting with lunchtime activities and award ceremonies. We will have sign ups for these events that can only happen with parent involvement. Also be sure to sign up and register on Konstella (our parent communication web site) so you don't miss any important announcements. The Foundation is very similar to a PTA, but with NO membership fees. Everyone is welcome!
