iMiddle offers several after school programs to enrich your child's academic experience. Here is a current schedule and links to PDFs of the flyers. New programs may be added.
Practices every Monday and Friday from 4:10pm - 5:30pm
Student athletes can keep physically active and build soccer skills for high school and beyond. Teams for 11-12 year olds and 13-14 year olds are still forming. Serious players are welcome to come try out. Must be able to commit to the team for the year.
Meets on Tuesdays in Room 14 from 3pm - 4:00pm beginning Sept 5th
Students learn about engineering, robotics, programming and working with others in this student-led club coached by Mr. Nusser. Teams will compete in the First Lego League and VEX Robotics competitions throughout the year. https://sites.google.com/imiddlesd.com/robotics-team
Kid's Chess Club
Meets on Wednesdays in the library at 1:25pm beginning Sept 6th
Experienced instructors cultivate an appreciation for chess among students. In addition to having fun, students will learn and develop life-long transferable skills including critical thinking, decision making and improved concentration. Sessions are 8 weeks long.

Meets at the tennis courts on Fridays from 3-4pm beginning Sept 22nd
The Tennis Program is offered by Youth Tennis San Diego and taught by Mr. Vosburgh in five 6 week sessions. Rackets and balls are provided.
