GradNation SUMMIT

San Diego Unified is committed to helping all students graduate with the skills necessary to succeed in the 21st century.

As part of this effort, the district is partnering with America’s Promise Alliance to host GradNation Summit, a half-day workshop for English learners and their families. The goal is to connect students and families with community based organizations, nonprofits, businesses, communities, educators and policymakers to establish a strong and effective partnership alliance to engage in actions to promote graduation for all.

(The summit will feature a panel that will include 4 Hoover freshmen!),

The event will take place on Oct. 20 at Kearny High School (1954 Komet Way, 92111) from 2-7 p.m. Child care, refreshments, and limited transportation will be provided. To learn more and register, visit the district's website.  Free Transportation click here.
