I was born in San Diego and grew up in Spring Valley. I attended San Diego State University where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology. Further education earned me a master’s degree in Special Education. My teaching career began at the college level where I worked with individuals with special needs. I also taught at the junior high level before moving to Grant. I have been teaching for more than 25 years.
I live in Jamul and have two children, Emily and Cody. Emily is enrolled at Sage College, and Cody is at Steele Canyon High School. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. We spend many weekends at the ranch near Mt. Palomar . I love to read, hike, and spend time outdoors.
I love working with kids. They keep me young and laughing.
