I was born and raised in Chula Vista, CA. I have lived here in San Diego for most of my life. I attended college at UC Berkeley where I received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After returning to San Diego, I worked as a child care worker for New Alternatives, a non-profit organization, for two years. I went to UC San Diego and obtained my teaching credential and a master’s degree in Education. I started my teaching career here at Grant teaching kindergarten in 2003. A year later I was transferred to Sherman Elementary and taught 3rd grade and kindergarten. In 2006, I came back to Grant and have taught 3rd grade and kindergarten. I really feel fortunate being a teacher at Grant school. I really appreciate the children, the parents and the staff here. I am proud to be working as such an excellent school.
In my spare time, I like to do various activities such as running, cooking, reading, dancing and traveling.
