A large portion of my instructional experience has been with kindergarten, first and second grade students.  I truly love teaching children to read and develop their comprehension skills as well as helping them to develop strong social and emotional confidence.  I have very high academic and social expectations for the children. I believe in a community model of teaching and learning which provides a structure that values meeting our own needs while allowing others to do the same. This model blends well with the greater Grant School Community since one of the many nice things about teaching at Grant is that it is a place supported by families and the community.  I look forward to the possibilities that support brings to each new school day.
