I’ve been an educator in San Diego For more than 2 decades, having experience in the private, charter and SDUSD setting. My areas of expertise are teaching reading, social emotional learning and integrating the real world into each day of teaching. I am passionate about exploring each child’s individual learning modalities and differentiating instruction to meet a variety of needs. When I’m not at school, I’m likely cooking up a storm at home in North Park or walking my dog, Puddin’, at Balboa Park. I love spontaneous travel, serving as a Sustaining volunteer and Board member for The Junior League of San Diego. I’m also a wife, an Aztec alum, a sister, an auntie, a lover of books and an advocate for children. It’s a thrill to join this school community, which aligns so perfectly with our classroom motto: Be Kind! Be Safe! Be Ready to Learn!
