POINT LOMA CLUSTER SCHOOLS FOUNDATION (PLCSF)

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Board of Directors for the Pt. Loma Cluster Schools Foundation consists of four representatives (one principal, one teacher, and two parents) from each of the 9 schools in the Pt. Loma High School cluster. Board meetings are held the first Monday of the month at 4:30 pm in the library at Correia Middle School. Our first meeting will take place on October 5, 2015.

The Board is responsible for developing the strategic focus for the cluster, as well as ensuring that the goals of the strategic plan are being implemented.  Often this involves collaboration with principals, teachers, district staff and parents.  Individual board members may undertake strategic and/or task-oriented responsibilities.

The Board of Directors at the October meeting elects the executive committee of the Foundation, and chairs for areas of strategic emphasis.  The executive committee consists of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, both a Principal and a Teacher Representative and other Board members if deemed necessary; and holds monthly meetings.
