Dana Students Participate in "Speak Up For The Silent" Campaign

Students in Ms. Bastani's TSS class were asked to reflect on what Dana students struggle with and how they can help. They created PSAs that address their concerns about depression and anxiety. Their campaign’s message is - notice when kids are “not okay” and speak up for them. Students often don’t talk about what they are going through and might not speak up for themselves. Their slogan is “Speak up for the Silent”.

The PSAs were included in our February student broadcast as part of the "word of the month" section. Please click this link to view the entire broadcast. You can choose to forward the video to the 12:38 section if you would like to skip directly to the word of the month section.
