Hello Cubberley Cougars! Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year! My name is Christa Hoot and I have the extreme pleasure of teaching our school’s youngest learners. It is my hope that all the students in Room K2 develop a love for school and learning. Children in my classroom will be exposed to strong academics, in a safe and engaging environment. We will have fun while learning!
I was born and raised in Orange County, California. I moved to San Diego when I began my college career at San Diego State University. I have never looked back. San Diego has become the home to my husband of six years and our two Labrador retrievers, Kai and Nahla. It truly is the most beautiful place in the world to live.
This past May, I received my master’s degree. Now that I have finished my education, I can focus on the things I love, which include: hiking, taking my dogs to the beach, bike riding, going to Disneyland, traveling and spending time with my family and friends.
I look forward to a spectacular year and I am so excited to officially be a Cubberley Cougar!
