Swann, Max

Mr. Swann graduated from University of San Diego with his Bachelors Degree in Art History and Architecture. Although he did not major in Math, it has always been his favorite subject in school. After USD, Mr. Swann taught English in Florence. Italy is where he decided that he wanted to be a teacher. Mr. Swann received his Single-Subject Math Credential and Master of Arts in Education from National University.

In his free time, Mr. Swann enjoys practicing yoga, traveling, camping, hiking, music, video games, dancing, football, and basketball. He loves spending time with his family, specifically his lovely wife, Elyssa, and loyal dog. He is a big believer that math is a universal language and that all people can learn it. Mr. Swann does not believe that it is about how he likes to teach, but rather how students like to learn.

This will be Mr. Swann's fourth year at CPMA. He is excited to teach 7th grade math and two classes of art, in the 6th grade wheel.
