Swann, Max

This will be Mr. Swann's fifth year at CPMA. He is excited to teach Math Intervention and Visual Art this year. He enjoys teaching both subjects because there is so much math in art.

Mr. Swann graduated from University of San Diego with his Bachelors Degree in Art History and Architecture. Although he did not major in Math, it has always been his favorite subject in school. After USD, Mr. Swann taught English in Florence. Italy is where he decided that he wanted to be a teacher. Mr. Swann received his Single-Subject Math Credential and Master of Arts in Education from National University. He is credentialed in Math and Art.

In his free time, Mr. Swann enjoys practicing yoga, traveling, camping, hiking, music, video games, creating, dancing, football, and basketball. He loves spending time with his family, specifically his lovely wife, Elyssa, and loyal dog. In addtion, he excited to share that his daughter was recently born on March 9, 2019.

Mr. Swann does not believe that it is about how he likes to teach, but rather how students like to learn.

"All improving in society begins with the education of the young."
