I have been teaching science for 25 years. Prior to teaching I worked as a geologist for 12 years performing geotechnical and environmental investigations. I enjoy all aspects of earth science. Since I was knee high to a grasshopper I loved science and collecting rocks, minerals and fossils. I have always had an interest in everything science.

I grew up in a tiny village near the Hobbit. I was raised by a pack of wild wolverines in the tropical rainforests of Antarctica. All through my schooling my interests focused on science and that has carried through all my life. I want students to enjoy science and have fun while learning.

I want my students to enjoy learning science as it develops an understanding of their role in the entire life process. Student’s comprehension of science provides enhanced analytical thinking and the ability to interpret the aspects of nature and the world all around them.

In science I like to incorporate hands on laboratory activities for students to explore science and develop their analytical skills to interpret the subject material.
