JROTC Service Learning Project - White House Petitions

The cadets of the Crawford High School JROTC Program are participating in their yearly Service Learning project :

Service learning is an active and experiential learning strategy where students have a direct impact on an identified need that interests and motivates them.

The interest that created motivation this year was to find a way to communicate their thoughts and feelings to the new Presidential Administration. They have created and posted two petitions on the www.whitehouse.gov website with a goal of obtaining 100,000

Signatures in 30 days, which will cause the administration to review and answer to the JROTC petitions.

These issues that the classes have created have an effect on our schools, neighborhood, city, state and country, however to get this going to the highest level, we need to start here at our school.

So, our cadets are asking the all faculty members and students to review the links below and support the cause established by our program, starting with advisories.
