PowerSchool Overview


What is PowerSchool?
PowerSchool is a web-based tool that enhances communication between parents, teachers, and students by providing access to student information from home, work, or from any remote location with Internet access. Parents can view:
  • School news
  • Student schedules
  • Attendance data
  • Homework assignments
  • Report cards and progress report
  • Up-to-the-minute grades
  • Direct email to the teachers
What do I need to create an account?
Parents create their own personal account, separate from their child's information, and can link their child to their account.  To create an account, please click on the link above. More detailed instructions can be found at the following link:
Please click on this link if you would like additional step-by-step instructions on creating an account and logging in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal.  This is in English and Spanish. 
To link your child, please contact Danielle Kirkendall at dkirkendall@sandi.net to acquire your child's personal ID and password.     
What do I need to log in?
Parents will use the personal username and password they created in the step above, to access their account in PowerSchool. Pins and passwords do not change when students change schools. For a parent informtation brochure please click here
I forgot my password. What should I do?
If you know your username and your email address matches what we have on record, send an email to Danielle Kirkendall at dkirkendall@sandi.net for additional assistance with your password. Please include your name and username in the email. IMPORTANT: For security reasons we cannot distribute login information without confirming your identity with your username and email address. If you forget your username or your email has changed, you will need to visit the office in person and show identification.
