We know that Sex Education imparts crucial information to our students, including the knowledge and skills to help them make informed decisions and choices that will impact their futures. Our district has honored the importance of Sex Education by implementing this meaningful instruction to students for more than 30 years. Additionally, we honor parents’ requests to opt their child out of this instruction. Currently our district offers Sex Education to students in grade 6, grade 8, and in high school Biology. However, out of concern for our students’ privacy, confidentiality, and safety, Sex Education will be suspended during this period of Distance Learning. Resources about Sex Education for our parents and caretakers can be found on the district’s Parents and Family Resources webpage.
